After graduating from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law in 2004, Eva Wong joined Neufeld, Marks & Gralnek. Ms. Wong practices civil business litigation in state and federal court, and handles matters involving contract, business torts, real estate, employment, insurance, and fraud issues. She provides legal services for entrepreneurial clients ranging from individuals, small businesses, privately-held companies to large corporations in a variety of industries including banking, real estate, manufacturing and distribution, textiles, and restaurants and hospitality. Her recent experience includes the representation of a private lender in a complex federal interpleader action concerning large pools of insurance policies, the prosecution of claims based on fraud, breach of contract, and unfair competition by a privately-held company against a well-recognized large multinational conglomerate, and the prosecution and defense of claims in debt collection cases. Ms. Wong is interested in and provides advice to clients in emerging legal areas involving e-commerce and intellectual property, and has participated in the negotiation and successful resolution of claims brought by and against her clients. |
Prior to law school, Ms. Wong attended the University of California, San Diego, where she received a B.A. in Political Science, with a minor in Chinese Studies. Ms. Wong is currently on the Legal Advisory Board for the Hainam Association of Southern California, a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting and fostering cultural ties between and among Hainanese-Americans and Chinese people of Hainanese descent abroad and in China, as well as charitable work such as fundraising for disaster relief, building schools and other public works, and sponsoring scholarships for Hainanese-Americans. She is fluent in written and spoken Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese). |
